David E. West is a heavily-in-demand Director of Photography. His first UFO film was Chasing UFOs for National Geographic; his second was The Phenomenon with James Fox; his third was Moment of Contact; and he is currently in the editing room on his fourth, as yet-untitled, UFO project.

Among the highlights of David’s DP career are: Last Mysteries of the Titanic with James Cameron for Discovery Channel; Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road; Running with the Sun; Building a Dream; The Ghost Prophecies, MeatLoaf: In Search of Paradise; and a popular music video for Rap star Ice Cube.

David has traveled the world and has shot projects in over 80 countries and in every U.S. state. He also has over 4,000 hours of shooting in helicopters with the door off! He has DP'd over 400 music videos, as well as Directed and DP'd over 100 music videos. Additionally, David shot nine seasons of the popular TV series Naked and Afraid, and Naked and Afraid XL.
