Debra Jordan-Kauble
Debra Jordan-Kauble was the central figure in Budd Hopkins’s New York Times best-seller, Intruders, the Incredible Visitations at Copley Wood, using the pseudonym "Kathy Davis" to protect her family. In 1992, she revealed her true identity and she co-authored, with her sister Kathy Mitchell, Abducted, The Story of the Intruders Continues. In August 2021, her second book, Extraordinary Contact: Life Beyond Intruders, was published by August Night Press. Her experiences eventually propelled her into the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) as a field investigator. Her years of personal experience gave her insight into the phenomena not often found in the field. She retired from Indiana MUFON after approximately 10 years.
After a break of several years, she found herself back in her role as investigator after the April 16th, 2005 event in Kokomo, Indiana, now known as the "Kokomo Boom," which was featured on two national cable broadcasts (Investigation X and UFO Hunters).
She has appeared on The Discovery Channel's Investigation X, the History Channel's UFO Hunters, The Sci Fi Channel, Unsolved Mysteries, Sightings, Maury Povich, Danny Bonaducci, Oprah Winfrey's A.M. Chicago, The Dini Petty Show (Canada), as well as others. She has been the guest speaker at numerous universities, think tanks and conferences around the world, as well as guest appearances on numerous radio broadcasts and podcasts.
In April, 2008, Deb expanded deeper into the paranormal when she joined the team at M.R.I.P.A. (Midwestern Researchers and Investigators of Paranormal Activity) as their resident Ufologist and field investigator, specializing in EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena). Drawing from personal experiences, she brought a unique perspective to her work with M.R.I.P.A., as well.
After approximately two years, she left M.R.I.P.A. and started her own paranormal investigative team, The Paranormal Underground, with co-founder Gregg Cable. Along with Gregg, she also co-hosts an hour+ long weekly podcast, Midwest Paratalk Radio. After a hiatus of several years, Midwest Paratalk Radio is back on the air, live streaming on YouTube every Thursday night at 9 PM EST and available for download the next day on most major podcast platforms.
She is also a co-host, along with Michael Carter, Mary Bassett, Deb DeRousse, and Ajay DeRousse, on a weekly Facebook Online Live called The Voices of Contact. That show airs every Friday night at 8 PM EST on Facebook and Mystical Awakening Vodcast on YouTube. She is also an administrator of the Facebook CERO Midwest Experiencer Facebook Page and hosts monthly Facebook Room meetings for members.
