Heather Burgett is an award-winning publicist and visibility expert who started her PR career in 1996, launching America Online as a consumer brand. She has generated billions of media impressions for her clients and was part of the award-winning publicity team that discovered The Blair Witch Project, and brought it to Sundance, where it was picked up by Artisan and went on to gross $250M+ worldwide — making it both a global phenomenon and one of the most profitable independent films ever made.
Heather is an advocate for truth-tellers and has helped countless clients tell their incredible stories in the media. She’s proud to have collaborated with Hollywood Disclosure Alliance’s Co-Founder Dan Harary on high-profile projects in the past, including: the 50th Anniversary of the Atomic Cinematographers, the launch of the Hollywood Film Festival, the Visual Effects Society Awards honoring Ray Harryhausen, and American Women in Radio & Television (where she also served on the board).
In her career, she has advised on the PR Campaigns for hundreds of films, as well as served as producer and publicist of the Beverly Hills Film Festival since its inception 23 years ago. She has represented Grammy® and Oscar® winners, authors, billionaires, celebrities, philanthropists, Hall of Fame rockstars and top brands.
