Jerry Brunskill
Jerry Brunskill is a renowned multimedia professional with a diverse array of talents and notable achievements. As an Emmy Award-winning member of the creative team at CBS Television and a Peabody Award nominee, Jerry established Wow and Flutter in 1995. This creative media and production facility has since produced or co-produced over 45 television shows, web series, and feature-length movies.
In November 2023, Jerry released his second feature film, Adventures of the Naked Umbrella, starring Jeremy Davies, Taryn Manning, and Tom Arnold. This dark-comedy adventure, which Jerry wrote, directed, and edited, is distributed by Level 33 Entertainment. More recently, Jerry contributed as an editor to the Spielberg/Hanks project, Masters of the Air, starring Austin Butler, that debuted on Apple TV+ in January 2024.
Jerry's first feature, It’s Gawd!, is a comedy starring Tommy Chong and Luke Perry, available on Prime Video. The film, which he also wrote, directed, edited,
and for which he composed the score, has amassed over 5 million views. Jerry’s directorial expertise extends to Amazon Studio's The Grand Tour, The Man in the High Castle, and the CBS All Access series The Twilight Zone with Jordan Peele. His documentary for VICE News, The War Against Boko Haram, earned him a Peabody Award nomination and involved him spending over a month embedded on the front lines with the Nigerian Military.
A gifted musician, Jerry began his career in music at a young age, achieving success on Star Search with his band, and later signing with Atlantic Records. His songs have reached Billboard’s Hot 100, and he has performed alongside iconic artists like Tina Turner, Tom Petty, and Prince. He continues to compose and score music for prominent television productions. Jerry studied Journalism at the University of Minnesota and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, with his two Siberian Husky rescues, Tyrion and Romeo. While he insists he is not a conspiracy theorist, he’s pretty sure flying saucers are real.
