Laura Banks is an actor, stand-up comic, and four-time author with Simon and Schuster.

Her comedic USA Bestseller, "Breaking the Rules," sold over 250,000 copies nationwide. In Star Trek II, the Wrath of Khan, Laura played the navigator of a spaceship alongside Khan (Ricardo Montalban.) She has also starred in action pictures produced by Roger Corman, and had her own TV series on SyFy, entitled Inside Space, where she interviewed Carl Sagan.

She continues to act and will be seen in March, 2024, starring in a YouTube series re-creating ET abductions. The new show is expected to draw an audience of 1.7 million viewers. For that new series, Laura is working with Sev Tok, who is consulting on the project.
