Leela Hutchison
Leela Hutchison was on the first exploration team to enter into the giant deadly crystal caves of Mexico in January of 2001. Her research has led to over twenty years delving into the high strangeness reported around this location where these 40 ft. tall, massive pylons were found deep underground in the Chihuahuan Desert of Mexico.
Her first book, Journey into the Giant Selenite Crystal Caves of Mexico, was published in 2016. She was the first American woman to enter into the underground caves. This discovery is now considered in some scientific circles as the Eighth Wonder of the World. This life threatening and deadly exploration provided some of the earliest images to come out of the caves. She has received invitations to present her findings and rare images of the crystals to the Smithsonian Institute and to the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History, among other institutions of Geology, Natural History, Gemology and the Explorers Club.
Leela’s research and findings have led to her theories that the massive pylons of crystals are acting as transmitters and receivers for UAPS and other “phenomena” in the Chihuahuan Desert. She has been seen on the UnXplained TV Series with William Shatner on the History Channel as well as on the hit show, Ancient Aliens.
Her second book, Mysteries of the Chihuahuan Desert, will be coming out in the summer of 2024. Leela is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California.
