Marisa Lloreda
Marisa Lloreda is an accomplished television and film producer, currently spearheading the launch of the UFO, Paranormal, and Occult genre FAST / AVOD channel, Ad Astra TV, set to debut in March 2024.
As the former Chief Content Officer for Impact TV, she played a pivotal role in executive producing the OTT platform’s inaugural original documentary series, Trail of Death: Path to Hope. Additionally, Marisa led acquisitions and programming at Bigstar TV, overseeing the branding and launch of the OTT service’s 16 niche-genre channels.
Marisa's career has been marked by her passion for film, television, and music. Starting in radio ad sales and promotions at NBC, she transitioned into television production, contributing to music-driven programs, such as the acclaimed music series Backstage Pass.
In her role as a development executive, Marisa collaborated with industry luminaries like Irwin Yablans, Harry Ufland, and director Martin Brest. Her international experience includes working on co-productions with Italy and Spain.
At Berk / Schwartz Productions, Marisa played a key role in the development and creative production of the iconic series Baywatch. She also wrote and directed the award-winning documentary Streets of Flamenco, available on Prime and Fandor. Building on its success, Marisa is currently in pre-production for Flamenco, a music and dance-driven feature film inspired by the documentary.
In recent years, Marisa has contributed to acclaimed projects, such as the 2023 Primetime Emmy-nominated documentary My Transparent Life, served as Executive Producer / Showrunner for the 2019 Emmy-nominated reality series Dream Life: Los Angeles, and the celebrity interview show Hollywood Disclosure (FYI / A&E, Hulu, Pluto TV).
A respected industry figure, Marisa has shared her insights as a frequent speaker at MIPCOM and MIPTV. She is also a thirteen-time judge of the MIPCOM Buyers' Award for Japanese Drama, and holds membership in the Academy of Television.
