Rory Rooney
Rory Rooney works across multiple levels of content creation with his production company Eight Trick Pony. He is a multi-award-winning producer / director in most disciplines, working in commercials, music videos, documentaries, short films, and feature films.
Rory has worked with global brands, from Starbucks to VW, and Agent Provocatuer, along with global talent, including Lady Gaga, Johnny Knoxville, and Elton John.
His first short, The Magic, was selected for Cannes and won multiple awards across the globe. His break out movie as producer / director was in 2016, starring Alexandra Daddario and Josh Brener — released by WellGo Ent & Amazon. Since this, Rory has produced multiple films, including Drowning (starring Oscar winner Mira Sorvino) and Satu, a road movie set in Vietnam.
Rory’s latest movie project Fog of War, starring John Cusack, will be released in 2024. He also has many projects in development, including work with Industry Entertainment and Tony Eldridge, producer of The Equalizer movies. Such projects include, The Scole Experiment, the world’s most incredible paranormal investigation, and Adamski which is a biopic feature film on the life of legendary UFO Contactee George Adamski.
Rory Rooney is repped in L.A. and is a member of BAFTA.
