Ryan S. Wood, born in Maryland and raised in Southern California, is a distinguished UFOlogist and researcher, following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Robert M. Wood, who was involved in UFO physics and anti-gravity research at Douglas Aircraft. Ryan graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1978, with degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science, later building a career in marketing, sales engineering, and corporate management across multiple industries, including aerospace, energy conservation, and fusion technology. He is currently the CEO of Electric Fusion Systems Inc.

Wood is widely regarded as a leading expert on the Majestic-12 documents and the 1941 Cape Girardeau UFO crash. He has lectured extensively, taught college courses on the subject, and organized seven international UFO crash retrieval symposia 2003-2009. He has been featured in numerous television programs, including on the History Channel and ABC News, and has been a guest on popular radio shows like Coast to Coast AM.
