Tom Bidwell is a screenwriter and producer from Leyland, Lancashire. After graduating from the BBC Writers' Academy in 2008, he went on to write the BAFTA nominated My Mad Fat Diary and the Oscar nominated film Wish 143. He has written extensively for television, including the Emmy Award-winning series Watership Down; the Emmy and Rocky winning series Katy- for which he also won best writer at the children's BAFTAs; and Netflix's The Irregulars, which was the most watched show on Netflix and in the world upon launch.

Tom has just wrapped The Velveteen Rabbit for Apple, and is currently under commission by Peacock for a new series starring Yvonne Strahovski..
